and has been for quite some time now!  Weather service has just doubled the predicted snowfall for overnight.  They were predicting 80% chance of snow with a possibility of 2"-4" this morning.  I just checked and the prediction changed to 100% of HEAVY snow with 4"-8" additional. It has been unbelievable!  This past weekend saw bitter cold with approximately 12"-14" and it hasn't quit yet!  Without counting todays and tonights snow, the Valley has received over 78" this season!!  Every single "inbounds" slope and trail and BOTH resorts are open, making the Valley the regions largest snowsport destination!!

Events this weekend include "Wild West Weekend" and a Rail Jam at Timberline.  Canaan will be having an airboard clinic.  Both resorts will be offering some of the best snow conditions ANYWHERE!  Apres-ski includes music at the Purple Fiddle and at Mountain State Brewing Company and much more.
